Double Marker – First Trimester is a simple screening test recommended to all pregnant women in the first trimester. The test evaluates the risk of some genetic/chromosomal abnormalities in the growing baby. It is performed during 9-14 weeks of pregnancy. The profile includes 2 parameters – beta human chorionic gonadotropin and pregnancy-associated plasma protein A. Genetic abnormalities like Trisomy and Down syndrome cause permanent mental retardation and other medical illnesses.

Routine hematology and coagulation testing is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Additionally, advanced hematological tests are a performed using a variety of techniques including flow cytometry and electrophoresis based methods and are available from Monday to Friday, 7 am – 5 pm.
